Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: We got the last spot in the lot off Wood Road. I was surprised by this it being mid week.
Surface Conditions
Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable
Recommended Equipment
Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Bridged. One hop on the Klem-Mack Loop heading back towards the pond
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: 2 Large blowdowns on the Round Pond Trail just above the Fire Road junction. Lots of work has been done on the Fire Round this summer widening it, grading it and adding many new culverts. It is much more a road than it used to be...
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: No issues for dogs
Bugs
Bugs: Lots of wasps around the old windmill tower just below the summit of Mack. Looked like they were warming themselves on the solar panel.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: A wool hat on the summit sign of Mack, left it there.

Comments
Comments: Trails were generally dry with one mud pit on the Orange section of the Klem-Mack Loop not far from the pond. Trails are in good condition. Still pretty green as far as the foliage goes, probably a week or two before peak. Saw plenty of people out enjoying the nice weather and great views.
