Comments
Comments: The Baldface Circle Trail is a great hike with lots of hiking in the alpine zone. There were views of the fall foliage in the adjacent lowland areas. The Evans Notch summits and the Carter Range were visible but Mt Washington was encased in clouds. The ledges may be challenging for some hikers and are particularly difficult if wet or icy. Luckily the surfaces were dry which made for good footing. The Slippery Brook and Baldface Knob trails can be used as an alternate route to South Baldface if conditions are poor. There are two stone benches at the junction with Baldface Knob Trail.
