Comments
Comments: Trails were generally dry with minimal mud. Some leaves and acorns are starting to drop making for some slippery footing here and there. Old Clough Road had a new sing up at the cable stating Private Way. We did not see any no trespassing signs or posted signs so we continued on foot from here. Old Clough Road had also been mowed at some point this season about half way up making for some nice walking. We continued a bit beyond the summit of Rand to a viewpoint along the Quarry Trail to catch some nice views down to Shannon Mountain. Foliage is near peak in this area now, lots of nice color. Congrats to Tonya for finishing her Belknap 12 today!!!
