| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
No problems |
| Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Mud - Minor/Avoidable |
| Recommended Equipment: |
| Water Crossing Notes: |
the only significant water crossing at 1 mile is low and easily crossed |
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
3 blow downs that I saw, but 1 looks like it has been there a while as there is a path that has been made around it. Also, trail markers are very scant and there are a couple places they are needed to keep people from going off trail. One couple I met said they got lost twice, including at the river crossing. |
| Dog-Related Notes: |
Only reliable water within the first 2 miles in. Other than that, there are a couple small springs seeping out of rocks, but I doubt they are reliable all the time. There is an old well right off the summit, but I didn't trust it. |
| Bugs: |
None! too windy and cool |
| Lost and Found: |
Picked up a plastic shopping bag, doubt anyone is looking for it. |

| Comments: |
What an awesome day. Sunny, 65, breezy, and you could see for miles. Definitely bring water for dogs as it is not reliable once you start climbing. Met a few people on a weekday hike. |
