| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
As far as blowdowns were concerned, there's one large climb-over just to the north of Mt. Mist on Wachipauka Pond Trail, a couple of step-overs on Webster Slide, and a couple of step-overs on Ore Hill and Atwell Hill trails. Some rotty bog bridging on Wachipauka Pond Trail, north of the pond. |

| Comments: |
Perfect hypothermia conditions today, low 40's, breezy, wet ground all around, rain falling. Staying moving was the name of the game. Most flat areas had standing water, ankle to calf deep, and most steeper areas were basically streams. No views in the rain and fog from the pond, or Webster Slide. Some late foliage hanging around, mostly beech, turning brown. Leaf cover is getting deep, though the rain will help compress it. Definitely a Type III fun kind of day with Ashley! |
