Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Minor blowdowns along Valley Way until a major blowdown 1/4 mile above the Watson Path junction. This blowdown extended for several hundred yards on either side of the trail, as well as for several hundred yards down the trail. The trail is currently completely impassable. Reasonably significant blowdowns also made Watson Path rough. I turned around, but you could probably get to Brookside if you really needed to. Scar was mostly clear except for one significant blowdown below the Airline junction that required a minor off-trail excursion to get around. Despite the recent rains, there was no water damage. Airline had several large blowdowns above the scar junction, but they looked passable.

Comments
Comments: Massive blowdowns thwarted my summit attempt. Light snow was observed from a distance on the summit cone, and flurries were observed on the Airline trail, but I saw no accumulation. Trails were soggy, but left undamaged from water. The real damage was from the blowdowns.
