We avoided the crossing by hiking up Cog and crossed over the tracks to cut onto trail. |

A few blow downs but totally passable either by going around, over, or under them. |

| Comments: |
Definitely a little slippery with 1-2 inches of snow covering most of Jewell trail but traction would not have helped. Gulfside was mostly clear except a few drifts here and there and very little ice. Did not see one person the whole hike! Fun hike with Tara with some beautiful views. |
