High water. At the 2nd crossing utilized a fallen tree 20 yds upstream. |

Lots of small branches everywhere. A couple of larger downed trees on the Kilkenny Trail of course occurred where the path changed directions, causing minor route finding challenges. |

What a delightful day. The forecasted high winds did not occur, azure sky, comfortable temps, ‘squeaking’ snow underfoot. Good snow for animal tracks- voles, hare, moose, but not as excited by the large bear prints crossing the trail several times. |
