| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Lots of additional eroded trail from the recent weather event. One large hole in the middle of the Carter Dome Trail at lower elevation. At about the 3400' level on the short switchback just before the last long one that ends at Zeta Pass I ran into multiple large blown down trees, the first group I could get around then there was a much larger tangle of multiple large trees where I stopped. There may be more I didn't see. This was probably around .3 miles before Zeta Pass. |

| Comments: |
I was planning on patrolling my adopted section of trail from Zeta Pass to Carter Dome via Mt. Hight. Carter Dome may be approachable via Carter Notch, but for the time being not via the Carter Dome Trail. As usual in winter there a few very treacherous icy places along the brook bank where a slip will put you in the water. I have pictures if trail maintenance crews want to see them. Email me. |
