Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Rock hoppable just before crossing Round Pond Road.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Removed one stepover birch on Round Pond Trail (just above the Fire Road) and one stepover on Round Pond-Piper Link (north side of the pond). Other than a birch on the ground on Round Pond Trail (which could be the basis of a good waterbar), no blowdowns remain. Installed 3 new rock steps on Round Pond-Piper Link.

Comments
Comments: Trails were snow free and generally dry. Plenty of leaves on the ground in places. Encountered some black and blue ice on the ascent of Mt. Mack, but it could be carefully avoided (and wasn't plentiful enough to justify traction). Round Pond is partially iced over.
