Trail had about 3" of fresh snow from last night. There were a couple sketchy-icy sections hidden by the snow, so traction is definitely needed (we were fine with microspikes). Summit was very icy with snow drifts, scramble up carefully! Otherwise it was a great morning hike with nearly perfect summit views (Washington was clouded in). Only saw a couple other people on our way down. |
