Zero degrees at base, highs likely around 5. Estimated 20 below with windchill below summit. Summit conditions brisk - about 30 below with windchill and 35mph winds. Very clear with pristine visibility. Mount Washington was visible from the summit! Saw a robin on the way down so this was classified as a "spring" hike. |
