Comments
Comments: The trail is very well packed out: we used snowshoes on the ascent, but microspikes on the descent and were fine. You'd be safe with just microspikes on the whole trail it's so packed down. Traction vital on the open rocks on the summit: they were well coated with thick ice unsuitable for snowshoes. Climb up tower recommended: watch for ice on the steps.
