Well the weathet was iffy on the ride as it was raining for some of the way. We made it to the parking area and it was dry. We started out and got exvited to see someone had gone out on snowshoes. Unfortunately it was short lived and they turned back. There is a monorail under some 6†of snow that I tried to stay on. This monorail headed up towards mt crag. I sunk in over a foot at time. When we got to the top, the view was great and the sun popped out. We wanted to do a loop so we headed down the otherside of the yellow trail. It was quite a mess trying to head down the steep section and stay on your feet but we did it. The snow was very heavy. To our surprise the gates brook trail was broken out!!! Not sure if people went up to middle mountain but we took a left and headed back to north road. We came out and did a road walk. A nice little day for some redlining. |
