Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Nothing.
Comments: No showshoes needed anywhere on this route, light traction is fine. The road walk is a sea of frozen boot prints, making for awkward footing. WRT is mainly a frozen monorail with some exposed rock and several stretches of boilerplate ice shortly before Cliff's Bridge. The worst of these can by gotten around by using the well beaten winter bypass on the right if ascending. Above treeline is mostly bare, dry ledge with some minor areas of avoidable ice. I removed my spikes for this section. Very cold (wind chills in the minus teens) at the summit with a stronger wind than what was forecast. I ducked behind the fire tower for shelter, but didn't linger long.

Despite it being a holiday, I only saw a few other people out, including a group of Dartmouth students who were leaving the summit as I arrived.
