| Comments: |
Unconsolidated snow just about everywhere. Some Styrofoam on the ridge. More ice on the Falling Waters Trail. We wore spikes to the summit of Lafayette and switched to crampons for the ridge walk. Didn't take them off until after the last water crossing on Falling Waters. Overcast all day but mild temps and no wind. We carried snowshoes, but they weren't needed. We hiked with Hiker Ed's Grid group today and saw many people out today on the trails.
