| Comments: |
The White Dot Trail, for the most part, was like a glacier. Lots of hard, thick, smooth, boilerplate ice. I had full crampons and was fine, but my friends only had microspikes and had a tough time with some of the ice flows. Ended up turning back just before the upper junction with White Cross Trail due to the ice. Still had fun, and it was a learning experience/teachable moment.
Thanks to Chad P. and Ari N. for a fun hike! |
