Comments
Comments: Picture perfect morning in the whites. Headed up the ski trail around 9am to Old Path then up South Doublehead, back down and over to North Doublehead and down the ski trail. Conditions were mostly hardpacked snow with some icy sections that were easily navigable with some traction. Wore microspikes all day and was fine but the snow was definitely softening up by late morning. Particularly the sections from the col up to South Doublehead and the upper part of the ski trail between the cabin and intersection with the old path - snowshoes will be helpful soon.
