Mount Potash trail- The Downes Brook was impassable so we walked the road to the 511 forest road and then met up with the Mount Potash trail.
Conditions- hard crust on top of solid base of snow. Break through crust slightly but just 1-2 inches. Top was actually softer snow than lower down. Ledges were covered in snow and ice but light traction was sufficient. Beautiful views of many mountains from this summit. |
