| Comments: |
Real crampons and an ax on Winter Lion Head required. Top of Lion Head to summit cone to top of Boott Spur needed only MicroSpikes. Parts of Boott Spur and BS Cutoff needed real crampons. Good tour, nice view of frozen avalanche debris in the ravine. Unsure why a party of five was coming down SUMMER Lion Head = risk of long, sliding falls. |
