Comments
Comments: A magnificent but cold day up on Mt Morgan and Percival. The trails are a lumpy mess in spots, riddled with shallow ankle-breaker post holes. I wore snowshoes to smooth things over the best I could with the couple inches of fresh snow and for some minor drifting on the ridge. I also need to get my snowshoe legs back before I'll be possibly breaking trails Tuesday. The steep sections of both Morgan and Percival have snow covered ice flows, I used my snowshoes up them and Hillsound Trail Crampons down. Both "Terrifying 25" sections were a lot of fun, and navigable with spikes. Certainly a beautiful winter day to be on these peaks with mostly clear skies.
