Started skiing up JNR about 11 am, Six degrees felt warm. Lots of snowmobilers out today. Traded my skis for snowshoes and started my whack just North of Caps Ridge lot and soon I was following a day old snowshoe track headed in the right direction. Ended up at research feed station just North of the cool between Millen Hill and Dartmouth, I stayed on bearing and side hilled it all the way staying in open woods and off the ridge. No wind and nice obstructed Mt views and much moose sign. Loose snow on top of a crust that I punched through only one in a while. Pretty winter day. Fast trip back following my tracks and a good ski down. Noticed that someone had skied the boundary trail. Was able to get a text out while skiing down the road for Charlie to come get me. Good fun.
