left Vaya at home for this one since she has a minor injury from owls head, so she's rehabbing wether she likes it or not. The trail was a dream for snow shoes today, i fully expected to break trail but to my pleasant surprise there were 4 people on their way down already...so thank you. Saw the message in the snow on Starr king saying love trumps hate. the trail between the 2 peaks is a lot softer and deeper and when i got to waumbek the cloud ceiling was still low at the lookout. however on my way home the clouds lifted and i could see the summit while driving on 115A...figures. snag this trail while the getting is still good. its tracked out but super soft still. your doing yourself and everyone after you a disservice if you barefoot this. Gaia had me at 3:14 |
