If you drive a corolla, be careful. Spaces were full, so parked along left side with 4 other cars. I was closest to the road and had to do a little work to get my car in and out of the way. Full house! |

| Comments: |
2 young men broke trail the whole way up followed by a large group and several others. Trail is well packed out, but snowshoes are needed as it's powdery ams loose. One poor kid from RI barebooted the whole way up with his snowboard. Postholed the whole thing, but enough people came after that the damage was corrected. A skier postholed from the intersection with south peak to just out of the trees where it was frozen making that one of the hardest parts of my hike (many many expletives and threats were muttered). Lots of skiers up there today! Otherwise a lovely day on Glenn cliff. Zero visibility at the summit. If there hadn't been so many people I probably wouldn't have summited. Literally turned around at the summit sign and there was absolutely no trace of trail. You could just make out each cairn from the one before, but I had to take my glasses off to do it. Winds were gusting, but not sustained. |
