| Comments: |
The Spellman / Red Spot loop receives little traffic. Upper sections have considerable ice and several trail markers are covered by snow. Switched out of Microspikes 1/2 way up in favor of crampons. Sections of Spellman require scrambling so bring a couple pair of gloves as your hands may get wet. Would not recommend this loop without crampons in these conditions.
Challenging and enjoyable.
