Comments
Comments: We traversed this mellow section of the AT from north to south - a great little hike (possibly skiable). This is now well-broken out; there's around 4-8" fluffy snow in the area. Enjoyed awesome winter views of the cliffs/slide area. Nice peaceful pond. Took a nasty little knee-slammer fall at the "Hairy Root Spring." Great day to get out with gorgeous blue skies, frosty white trees, and MANY deer tracks. PLUS we bagged a couple more 2Kers!!! YAY!! Thanks Ed!
