| Comments: |
After seeing Trish and Alex's pictures I had this grand idea to see the sunset from Moosilauke. But the blue skies turned dark and opened up almost as soon as I hit the trail. Still a better day than sitting on the couch. And I saw a thru hiker. The trail was a mixed bag of all sorts of stuff. I would say lots of iced over snow and soft ice floes. Some exposed rocks, but easy to manage. Snowshoes the whole way which was just short of South Peak. You can only embrace the suck so long. |
