Comments
Comments: I was thrilled when I saw Joe's post on the trailed part of this hike. Thanks Joe.

Snow: breaking trail was never an issue as the snow was supportive, snowshoes are needed. Lots of blue ice and bare spots. Ledges are mainly bare. Dirty textured snow made it hard to follow my tracks out.

Bushwhack woods: I felt like there was some fairly thick stuff between Stairs and East Stair. Nothing too bad, but didn't let up much either. Resolution was not too thick.

Route: From Stairs, I bushwhacked down to the bump west of the east peak. This had a cairn and very nice views. I continued towards the col in thick woods. Just before the col I hit an impassable cliff and had to cut north a fair distance, making false starts along the way. Finally, I found a decent way down and went at the peak. The highpoint is recognized. I retraced my route, though I lost my tracks a couple time. Returning the way I came, I took Parker trail to the on trail bump of Resolution and then bushwhacked the highpoint from there.
