Comments
Comments: Trail was in pretty great condition. Loads of postholes on the sides, if you stepped off just a smidge to let someone pass, you ended up over your knee in snow. We used microspikes the whole way (one friend with crampons), saw a group with snowshoes on. It was pretty easy to use just spikes, going down Avalon trail from Avalon summit was the iciest place.
