Trail conditions were variable. We wore spikes the whole time and didn't have any issues, but there were some postholes, and some were quite deep. Most of the trail was snow covered, significant ice in portions, some mud, and a lot of bare rock. The conditions changed so frequently that it didn't make sense to remove spikes, so we kept them on the entire time. Beautiful day and the views were fantastic! |
