Bugs
Bugs: No bugs but the song birds were pretty happy
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Lost hope of winter returning in the Whites but found out how much I have missed a light pack and trail runners again.

Comments
Comments: It's an alphabet soup of conditions right now. I hiked in a tshirt till the ledges. Crazy warm. Lower section till second crossing can be barebooted. Spikes were balling pretty good. Wore spikes till ledges then put on crampons. Which was overkill. The ledges are completely bare. Lots of rotting snow between the ledges. There is a good firm base so no post holing unless you step of trail. The last push to the summit had some bulge ice but easily handled with crampons. Sharp spikes would work just as well. Summit was bare rock. Another beautiful hike after work.
