Recommended Equipment: Skis
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Some open drainages which we had to pick our way around on skis. Actual streams are physically bridged.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: A few duck understand one annoying (on skis) stepover
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Sarge is still to young for this sort of outing but he would have definitely enjoyed it! This is a great route for pups :)
Bugs
Bugs: Actually yes. And snow fleas!
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: FOUND: A pair of aviator sunglasses on a rock near the summit sign. I will gladly get them back to you if they are yours. Email me.

Comments
Comments: Skinned up, skied down. Snow coverage was good with the exception of a few open drainages near the bottom. We de-skied a quarter mile below the summit where the snow disappeared. The snow was mostly good for skiing thanks to warm temps. It was getting a bit icy on our descent as the temps fell. If you’re going to ski this I HIGHLY recommend waiting until the next snow dump! If not skiing, snowshoes and light traction would suffice.
