the snow melt has the water higher than summer, not so easily hopped. |

3 fairly new medium tree blow downs on the brook trail, need saws or axes to clear |

saw a couple well behaved pups with their humans |

| Comments: |
traction will depend on where you are at the time. I used spikes on the Boulder loop trail until I got to the boulder field and then the trail dried out. put the spikes back on for about 200 yrds on the way over to S Straightback. took them back off for my journey to North Straighback, back, and then over to Anna. I put them back on near the summit of S Straightback and left them on until I reached the parking lot. Some people had spikes and some were bare booting it. Spikes made it easier and faster for the way down. |
