Comments
Comments: I walked the road that leaves southeast to the road that goes south up the drainage. I walked this road a bit too far and ended up going at it from a point a little too far east. The bushwhack proved tough due to thicker going and some icy steeps. Soon things calmed and I had open woods to the recognized highpoint. To return, I left my tracks and headed further west (the more typical route) and things were much better.

The road was packed snow and ice. The bushwhack was well consolidated, supportive snow. Snowshoes are a must as it is still deep and filled in around spruce boughs.
