 | Comments: |
Mixed bag o' conditions this afternoon. The road walk had constant snow coverage for the most part, except for a small area near the gate and a large area past the toll house. The bottoms of both trails had spotty coverage, with snow/ice levels increasing higher up. At present, Winslow Trail has far more ice than the Barlow Trail, so if you're skittish around ice, Barlow Trail is the way to go. Light traction did the trick for the whole hike. |
