Comments
Comments: Boulder loop trail is close to melted out overall. We needed light traction immediately after the bridge but took them off once we reached the rockier section; it's melted and dry. Along the way was plenty of mud as well. The summit is bare of snow. Brooks Trail is very slick and we opted to put micros and stabilicers back on until about the point it met back up with the Mt Major Trail. Sometimes it was icy, other times it was the slush that made the ground slippery. More mud. As the ground leveled and we met back with the Mt Major trail there was lots of melting and even some dry patches.
