Comments
Comments: Hasn't been new snow in this region in 2 weeks or so. Snow was wasting away. Mostly cloudy day with temps in low 30s snow pack was supportive and only post-holed 2-3 times. I managed with Hill-sounds trail crampons. Cloud ceiling was fairly high most 4K's to north were in clear. Trails were mostly well packed with few bare patches under spruce trees. One 1/2 mile stretch of trail must get more sun was deteriorating snow.
