The trail had been broken out, but wasn’t packed down. Our group of 3 plus the 2 other people we saw packed it a bit more. There was significant slippage on the steep sections, even tho I wore my Tubbs Flex Alps. When I went to step up with one foot, the other would sink a foot into the snow. Made for a slow ascent! A butt sled would be PERFECT for this trail - I slid quite a bit on the descent, only without the sled!
