Comments
Comments: White Dot is well broken out and can be done with light traction. Cascade Link to Red Spot had been broken out but was still unconsolidated powder even after we snowshoed it. We broke out Spellman and you still need snowshoes there as the snow is 2-3 ft deep. The remainder of Cascade Link was not broken out as of Sat noonish. Red Spot from Cascade Link jct was broken out but I don't know how far. Pumpelly was broken out from Dublin Lake by a large group and light traction seems possible. We also broke out White Cross so that is still all loose, unconsolidate powder and snowshoes would be strongly recommended. I can't remember seeing as much snow on Monadnock as there was today and I have over 1500 hikes there. Just looked like a different world today.
