Readily doggable to the viewpoint. Between viewpoint and summit, the heavy bit breakable crust did challenge my dog who tends to punch through. |

Nice little woods walk with a bit of lunacy at the summit, where I turned too early off Crawford-Ridgepole. My tracks descending are the proper route up. Old Mountain is well packed out. Snowshoes made easy work of the less-traveled C-R. Stretch between view and summit had not been touched since the last storm. Just me and the dogs today, so it’s now broken but a long way from packed out. |
