Comments
Comments: Most trails show evidence of recent travel. Snow is supportive for bushwhacking. All bushwhacks were open hardwoods. From just north of the Oak Ridge Cutoff/High Ridge Tr. junction I bushwhacked up the 2601 foot peak that peak bagger calls the west peak of Shaw. From the High Ridge/Faraway tr. junction, I walked a short distance on trail and then bushwhacked right at the south ridge of Faraway, crossing the trail once and going over the two small southern bumps. I intersected the access road and took it to the top. To return, I cut a major corner by bushwhacking south from the high ridge/faraway junction.
