Comments
Comments: From the trailhead to Black Mountain Cabin, the Black Mountain Ski Trail was in good shape with a base of good base of consolidated snowpack created by skiers and foot traffic. However, with the warmer temperatures this once-firm base is becoming soft and spongy in many places.

From the Black Mountain Cabin to the summit, the trail had some moderate postholing, but still overall in good shape.

The Black Mountain Cutoff Trail was a mess with deep postholes for the entire distance!!
