The trails were in great shape. The four of us used spikes up and across the ridge. I switched to crampons for the hike down Falling Waters, and Cathy switched to K-10s just above the tricky sections around the falls. The other two just used spikes all day. We carried shoes in case the deep snow softened, but it didn’t. It was much windier above treeline than we expected, but still a great day. |
