Comments
Comments: Thin snowpack on Dicey's Mill tr below Wiggin trail junct. Monorail fading fast. Above junct, snow deepens with no ice exposed yet. Summit still has deep snow, with 48"+ depth along side trail to north view. Wore microspikes up, used snow shoes to complete the trail out to the north viewpoint. Now open for visits. Most of the upper monorail in solid condition, except a section above the E Loop junct heavily postholed for several hundred feet - by moose. Trail actually held moose's weight in places! Great day to be out. Blue sky arrived at the summit just ahead of me, with long views from all viewpoints. 45 degrees and no wind on the summit.
