Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: One significant blowdown (from the October storm?) on Quarry. Well-limbed and easy enough to scramble under (or over, if you’re taller than me).
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: One short stretch on the ascent of Rand could be challenging for a dog who isn’t comfortable scrambling. Small boulders section descending East Quarry a bit sketchy for dogs (soft snow hiding the gaps); I opted to bushwhack up and around while my human buddy took that route. Otherwise very doggable.
Bugs
Bugs: Snow fleas!
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Hoping whoever left the flag on Major is planning to go back for it...

Comments
Comments: Very mixed conditions: up to a foot of wet, heavy snow, mud, and wet slippery rock. Spikes on, spikes off, spikes on, spikes off, repeat. Really starting to feel like spring.
