Comments
Comments: 4-5 inches fresh, sticky spring snow from bottom to top made the trip up Carrigain a good workout. The stickiness made it harder, not the depth of trail breaking. Alternated between bare booting and snowshoeing. Neither was perfect but we got er done. On the return Sawyer River Road coverage was quickly melting, actually slushy in spots.

Met only one other group of 3 on this gorgeous April day!
