Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Two large trees have blown down almost in sight of the trailhead. You can get over them, but they're quite the obstruction. It would be great to get a chainsaw in to clear them. There's another blowdown around 1,350 ft in altitude, but it's not too hard to scramble over.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: It was so slick even the dog was sliding around

Comments
Comments: Microspikes are needed starting almost immediately. Having a hiking pole was nearly essential for descending. It's icy all the way to the summit. The snow/ice is mostly hard. I only had one minor postholing incident, crossing the summit for the views on the other side.
