| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
As always, do not park on the private property that is between the road and the trailhead. |
|
| Surface Conditions: |
Ice - Breakable Crust, Snow/Ice - Frozen Granular |
|
| Recommended Equipment: |
Light Traction |
|
| Water Crossing Notes: |

| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Two large trees have blown down almost in sight of the trailhead. You can get over them, but they're quite the obstruction. It would be great to get a chainsaw in to clear them. There's another blowdown around 1,350 ft in altitude, but it's not too hard to scramble over. |

| Dog-Related Notes: |
It was so slick even the dog was sliding around |

| Comments: |
Microspikes are needed starting almost immediately. Having a hiking pole was nearly essential for descending. It's icy all the way to the summit. The snow/ice is mostly hard. I only had one minor postholing incident, crossing the summit for the views on the other side. |
