Comments
Comments: Beautiful day on the trails today. Ridge walk was fantastic. Bare booted in the morning up to the point where the double fall line began, then switched to snowshoes. About 3-4 inches of fresh powder leading up to the summit. The ridge has fantastic views, the summit, not quite as nice with the fire tower closed. Speaking of the double fall line, it was tricky, especially on the return trip when the trails softened up. Plan for a slower pace! One couple had turned around after multiple slides downslope into trees (wearing micros and crampons). Only four people on the trail today.
