Comments: Wow, wow and wow! No wonder this is a 52WAV peak. Lovely moderate trail with superb views. Per last weekend’s report we avoided the Downes Brook crossing by taking FR511, although according to the other report herein from the only other party we saw today, the crossing was fine. We carried snowshoes and barebooted up the forest road on the morning’s hard crust, then donned them at the Mt. Potash trail junction for the rest of the day. IMHO they were perfect for conditions. Forest road still has lots of snow in most spots although I bet in a week the steeps ascending the upper ledges will lose their cover.

Fixated with using the PeakAR app to identify the peaks on the skyline. My new must-have app. Lingered as I played with it in the almost windless crystal clear days - a present from the earth on this Earth Day.
