Nearing treeline on Airline has quite a few blowdowns that will be around until the snow melts when crews can get up there and clear them out |

Valley way is firm until the last mile then it gets softer, spikes were fine. Airline I'd recommend snowshoes with the warmer temps coming through. Above treeline you could use light traction, traction, or snowshoes. Mount Adams had more than enough deep snow coverage that you could make your own route!
Phenomenal day above 5,000 feet, some of the best snow conditions I've ever hiked in, get up there now before the snow melts away above treeline over the next few days! |
